C22 T1 High Bridge Columbia Trail - The Shortest Day (or Longest Night) Ride

We'll meet at the High Bridge Trail Head parking lot off of Main St. to head 11 miles to the Northeast towards Long Valley @ 3:15 pm. Mandatory Head and Tail lights as we'll be riding at dusk and in the dark on our return. Of course Mandatory helmets prevail as usual. Tire width recommendations of 28 mm or wider are strongly suggested for this hard-packed limestone trail ride. Faster riders may go ahead as they're want to do. We'll ride to the coffee shop across the busy road in Long Valley for our turn around point and short rest and snack  break as we likely will not want to cool down too much before turning back towards our starting point.

Rain, ice, extreme cold, or otherwise treacherous winter affiliated weather conditions will cancel the ride portion of this event. 

Upon return at ~ 5:30 pm, we'll load our bikes onto/into our cars and drive 1/2 mile back into town for a delicious pre-holiday Feliz Navidad Mexican-style dinner at Casa Maya located at 1 Main St. in High Bridge. The WJW club supplies the (cerveza) beer. You supply the (dinero) $$ for your meal as we toast the end of our riding season.
