Tohickon Valley Park Hike Event Details

The hike will be around 7miles on blazed trails with many scenic views of the Surrounding area. There will be some modest hilly Terrain to navigate. Hiking boots and poles are a good choice for the terrain. There is a schedule Dam release from Lake Nockamixon On Sunday which means there will be White Water Kayakers on Tohickon Creek having fun navigating the rapids. The best White Water is forecast to be from 9am to 4pm and yes, we should be able to watch them from the hiking trails navigate Tohickon Creek. They are like Salmond if you never scene White-Water Kayaking before.

Bring you best PBJ or sandwich, snacks and water for the hike. I plan a stop on the trail about halfway.

We will meet at Tohickon Valley Park parking lot at 9:45 for a 10am start. Directions to Tohickon Vally Park parking lot can be accessed on Google maps easily by entering Tohickon Valley Park. It is on the west side of Cafferty Rd 1.3 miles North of Point Pleasant P.A.

After hike tasty beverages will be at Boo's Firehouse Tavern on Route 32 Point Pleasant P.A.
