Voorhees State Park Hike Event Details

The hike will be 5 miles on well blazed trails, with scenic overlooks of the surrounding area. There will be some modest hilly Terrian to navigate. Hiking poles, boots with good tread and cold weather clothing would be a good choice.                                                                        Bring your best PBJ, snacks and water for the hike. I plan to stop about halfway for a snack.                                                                                       We will meet at the Hoppock picnic area parking lot at 9:45 for a 10am start. We will be hiking on the Highlands, Hill Acres, Solar System, Vista, Brook Side and Tangle Wood Trails.    

The address is 251 County Rd 513 Glen Gardner, N.J.                                  Rt 513 North out of High Bridge, Voorhees State Park is on the left and Voorhees High School is on the right.                                                        Do not use the Observatory Entrance.         

After hike tasty beverages will be at Ester Hart Artisan Ales in High Bridge, N.J.
