Voorhees State Park Hike Event Details

The hike will be 5 Miles on well blazed trails, with scenic overlooks of streams and surrounding area and there will be some modest hilly terrain to navigate. There will be some packed down snow and ice on the trail, so hiking boots with good tread or traction such as micro spikes are recommended. Hiking poles and cold weather clothing are also going to be needed, Sunday is looking like a nice winter day, Sunny with a high of 40.

Bring your best PBJ sandwich, snacks and water for the hike, I plan to stop and have lunch on the trail about halfway.

We will meet at the Hoppock picnic area parking lot at 9:45 for a 10am start. We will be hiking on the Highlands, Hill Acres, Solar System, Vista, Brook side and Tanglewood Trails.

The address is 251 County Rd 513 Glen Gardner N.J.                                     Traveling North on Rt513 Voorhees High School is on the right and the entrance to the park is on the Left. Do not use the observatory entrance.

After hike tasty beverages will be at the Esker Hart Artisan Ales on main street Highbridge N.J.
