C 31 T3 Hot Dog Ride
Celebrate the Summer Solstice with your bike club, and help Barb and Kurt celebrate their anniversary. After the ride we will gather under our spreading maple tree and enjoy a picnic where the hot dogs will be, hopefully, grilled to perfection. If everyone is good, there will be ice cream and cake for dessert. Of course, beer and soft drinks for all riders.
The ride will start at our Pied a Terre at 9 AM. The route posted is 31 miles that goes from Ringoes over the Green Sergeant Covered Bridge through Rosemont and eventually to Prallsville where we then head back to Ringoes along the beautiful Wickecheoke Creek on Lower Creek Rd. There will be a rest and re-group stop at the halfway point on Federal Twist Rd., so bring a drink and a snack.
For those not quite ready for 31 miles, Barb and Karla will be doing a shorter 19 mile ride also starting a 9 AM. This ride will have a rest stop at the Covered Bridge Cafe in Seargeantsville. Cue sheets will be available.
We have a limited number of chairs for the picnic so to guarantee that you have a seat, put a chair in your car.
