C25 T3 Bike Ride & Tubing on South Branch River

Ride description:  

Beat the heat and become a kid again.  Join us for our very first Ride/Tube Excursion.  We'll meet for a 25(?) mile ride and then cool off with a tube ride.  We'll meet at Joe Stala Park in Hillsborough for a leisurely ride through the Sourland Mountains at a C pace.  At the end of the ride, we will park bikes at a secure location (a friend's garage), hop in a tube that will be provided, and float down the peaceful South Branch of the Raritan River, observing turtles, river grass and jumping fish.  The float will take approximately one hour.  Upon exiting the river at the Woodfern Bridge, we'll be picked up and driven back to retrieve our bikes and then ride about 3 miles back to our cars.  

Necessities:  river or water shoes, towel, bathing suits

Ladies: I suggest wearing your suit under your bike clothes
Men: Either wear your suit for the ride or change at the location

This event is open only to current members of the Bike Club
