C-40 East Passage Touring Tuesday on rural scenic low traffic roads thru Rockport, Hackettstown, Drakestown, Flocktown, Woodglen and Changewater. Hope to avg 12.5 mph. One 240ft climb in segments, rolling hills and two short hikes.

Rural low traffic scenic 40 mile ride thru Warren, Morris and Hunterdon Counties with stops at the Rockport RR disaster, H/town warm water fish hatchery, and Stephens State Park. You will need your bike shoes that are easy to walk in for two short 20 min hikes from Stephens park to Schooleys  Mtn and the Fish Hatchery. The hike up to Schooleys Mtn is also know as the East passage. There is one climb of 240ft in segments,  plus many rolling hills. Hope to avg 12.5 mph. Bring PBJ sandwich and snacks for stops.
