It's March, and even though Mother Nature hasn't been too kind to us this Spring (once again), if you haven't already done so, it's time to renew your club membership.
Benefits of membership include:
- Riding with other experienced cyclists
- Learning new routes in our area
- Cycling safety
- Cycling skills and techniques
- On-road repairs
- At-home bike maintenance
To renew -- or if you're new to the club and wish to join -- click the 'Join Us' link on the menu bar.
First, select your membership level:
- Family Membership - $30
- Individual Membership - $25.
NOTE: The additional cost for Family Memberships is to cover the additional cost for bike club insurance.
Then enter your personal information:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Mobile Phone
- Land Line (optional)
- Street Address
You'll also need to agree to the WJW Liability Waiver. Please click on the link before clicking the check box that you agree to the waiver. (The liability waiver is unchanged from previous years.)
Next, select your payment method. You can make your secure payment online using a credit card, or you can pay offline by mailing a check to the club. If you pay by credit card, you'll be able to access the 'member only' portions of the website immediately once you complete the process. If you opt to pay by check, you won't be able to access the 'member only' portions until your check is received.
Once your payment is made, you will be sent an email containing a temporary password. Log in by clicking the avatar in the upper right corner of the webpage. Enter your email address and temporary password and click 'Log In'. You should change your temporary password with a permanent one of your preference. If you ever forget your password, there is a process where you can reset your password by clicking the 'Forgot Password' link.
You're in control of your own profile on the website. From your profile, you can opt-out of receiving club emails, or opt-in in case you accidentally clicked a link to not receive club emails. You can also control the amount of data you want to share with other club members.
From your profile page you can also create and print your own membership ID card.
Any profile information you enter is only visible to other club members, and is not accessible by non-members.
Looking forward to seeing you out on the road.
