C32 T3 Lone Eagle to Plateau

Ride description:

We'll ride from Lone Eagle Brewing up to the plateau. Weather looks like it will be cool, but no rain, so dress accordingly. The club will buy the first round. Non-alcoholic beverages are available.

No stores on the route, so bring fluid and a snack. We'll take a break at Kingwood Park on Union Rd.

Note the 10 AM start time.

The ride will be cancelled if there is a likelihood of rain.

No drops.

Helmets mandatory.
Front/rear flashers recommended
Mirrors recommended

As a reminder, on group rides we ride in a single file when on County roads or when there is traffic coming up from behind us, and use hand signals so vehicles know where we're going.

Sunday Hike: white Oak trail to Zega Lockatong creek trail.

Start time: 10:00 am, rain cancels. A light intermittent rain is ok to hike in.

Distance ~ 6.3 miles 550 ft. Of elevation.
This is a beautiful mixed terrain trail, dirt, rock, grassy fields and bridge, and roadway.

Park in Bulls Island.

Bring a pbj for a halfway snack along the creek.

Starting at mi casa, we will ride on mostly scenic, rural roads in the Amwell Valley and finish up at the new Mexican restaurant, La Cocina de Neri, in Ringoes for lunch. This restaurant has taken over the old Carousel deli and has fixed up the place very nicely. A breakfast sandwich is $7 and a lunch sandwich/taco is around $20 or so. Appetizers and salads can also be had. Credit cards accepted.

Note start time is 9:00.

Helmets are Mandatory. High Viz clothing, front/rear flashers as well as mirrors highly recommended.
